We’re thrilled to welcome you back to Springbank Middle for the 2023-2024 school year! The staff is bubbling with excitement and can’t wait to dive into another fantastic year of learning and fun with you all.
We’re kicking things off with a staggered entry to ensure a smooth and exciting transition. On Tuesday, September 3rd, we’ll roll out the red carpet for our Grade 5 and 6 students. They’ll get to explore Springbank Middle and enjoy a day filled with engaging activities led by our amazing House Team captains

Start Dates
This year, Springbank Middle will be hosting tours along with staggering our entry for the 2023-24 school year. The following highlights the Open House opportunities and staggered entry for students and families.
Day Time Grades
September 3, 2024 8:40am Grade 5/6
September 4, 2024 8:40am All SMS Students
Homeroom and Option Courses
Currently, we are enrolling students into their Homeroom and option classes (option classes for Grade 7/8). The process is fluid and changes are happening live in PowerSchool. Students and parents, please remain patient with this process and once the enrollment process is complete, we will communicate to families the procedure for option course changes (G7/8).
We are all excited to start the year and are looking forward to having Springbank students return to school.
