Phone and Internet Outage at RVS Schools

As of 4:45 p.m., Oct. 2, 2024, RVS continues to experience technical issues impacting phones and the Internet at all schools due to a fibre optic cable being cut near Calgary. Schools remain open and classes will continue without Internet access. For urgent messages, parents/guardians can contact the school principal and/or assistant principal through email which will be received on their phones. An email has been sent to all RVS families with more information.

Road Construction

We would like to inform you that construction of TWP 245 and the Calaway Park parking lot is scheduled to begin arriving on September 24th. Please note that this date is subject to change due to weather conditions. The site will see a continuous shuttle of gravel trucks accessing the new entrance to the park.

Construction signs will be reinstalled on RR 33, and traffic control personnel will be on-site to assist. Gravel deliveries will take place over a three-week period, starting at 7 a.m. each day and continuing throughout the day.

While the middle school parking lot entrance will remain accessible, traffic may be slower during this time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as the work progresses.
